The 2025 Nissan Z is the perfect sports car for driving enthusiasts. Its powerful engine can be paired with your choice of a manual or automatic transmission, so you can easily match the model’s capability to your idea of fun.
Introducing the 2025 Nissan Z
The 2025 Z builds on decades of sports car legacy with adrenaline-inducing performance wrapped in a vintage-looking package. This year’s model is available in three trim levels, including a performance-oriented NISMO grade designed for zero-sixty thrills.
The two entry trims are easy to customize with your preferred transmission for engaging or more relaxing drives, so you can enjoy days at the racetracks or create the perfect tourer for exploring the winding roads of the countryside.
High-Performance Thrills
Each 2025 Z model has a 3.0L V6 engine under the hood, with a standard net output of 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. A standard six-speed manual transmission allows you to enjoy full shifting control for engaging rides, while the rear-wheel drive provides quick acceleration and the aggressive handling you might seek in a sports car.
If manual shifting is not your thing, you can opt for a nine-speed automatic, which is optional on the Sport and Performance trims and standard on the NISMO model. The performance-oriented range-topper also includes additional performance upgrades that boost the engine’s output to 420 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque.
Handsome Design
The new Z has a vintage-inspired exterior enhanced by modern styling elements, such as LED lights and the Nissan Intelligent Key for easy vehicle access. Standard 18-inch wheels provide outstanding traction, while 19-inch RAYS or NISMO RAYS wheels are standard on the upper trim levels. The upper trims also boast performance elements, such as Akebono front and rear calipers that enhance braking performance and add visual appeal.
Driver-Centric Cockpit
Inside, this two-door coupe is designed with the driver in mind. Eight position adjustments for the driver’s seat allow you to maintain an ergonomic posture behind the wheel. The center console has high-placed controls and acts as an armrest, making it easy to use the gear shifter and reach the various controls. Cloth or Alcantara seating surfaces, depending on the trim, allow you to choose between sporty and elegant looks.
NissanConnect Infotainment
With the NissanConnect infotainment system, staying connected on the go is easy. Standard features include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, while built-in navigation with SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link is standard on the Performance and NISMO trims. These models also include Wi-Fi hotspot capability and connected services.
